Beauty Across 1,000,000 Years
One million years from now no one will remember the “Beautiful People”* of today, yesterday or tomorrow.
Though they may have shone in their appointed world, ultimately, they will have lived in vain as the society of the
future will neither remember, nor care, that they ever lived.
There are four kinds of people alive today, perhaps more if you want to make fine distinctions.
1) People who are generally happy with their lives or with themselves and have no reason to think that this will
change considerably.
2) Those who are unhappy with their lives or themselves and have no reason to think that this will improve
demonstrably.
3) People who are happy at times and unhappy at other times with life and themselves and who wish they
could find a way to enjoy life more than less.
4) People who are happy at times and unhappy at times but have found some kind of method to increase the
happiness and keep unhappiness at bay.
All of these people, in whatever state of fulfillment they find themselves, are told by some religionists that whether
they are happy or unhappy, they are missing an essential factor, because they are sinners (or less than highly
altruistic people) and that without salvation as they see it, their final state of affairs will be dismal, whether they
enjoyed their time on Earth or not.
For those who are content with their lives at categories one and four above, this is information they can ignore or
seriously consider with minimal psychological stress, generally. But for those who are in categories two and three,
and unproductively unhappy with their lives at an unacceptable degree, this is potentially devastating information.
One can almost say, that it is almost kinder not to burden these folks with this to begin with.
It is possible for folks in all of these categories to accept, though more difficult for some than others, that perhaps
they could be better individuals than they currently are, otherwise they would be deluding themselves if they thought
they had arrived at a near-perfect state of being.
For all of these folks, though again, for some of these folks, this information could pose serious risks if taken too
seriously, attempts are sought, or may be sought, to reach out beyond themselves and their immediate ken of
perception or experience through a variety of approaches to life and philosophical systems.
For some, the following often-quoted text, can be a positive solution to their quest for self-improvement, for others,
again, the text can cause more harm than good. Simply stated, this text is:
“If we confess our sins (imperfections), God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (shortcomings) and purify
(improve) us from all unrighteousness (imperfections.)
1 John 1:9.

Healing and Light
Imagine yourself in a slowly ascending elevator. When you reach the top you arrive on the roof of a tower flooded
by soft, comforting light. Direct the light to whatever part of your body or life is in need of the healing qualities of
this Perfect Light. Return to the elevator only when the Light has flooded every cell in your body or life. (Courtesy

Nature of Time
Unlike height, length and depth, Time has no beginning or end. Time has always existed, continues to exist and will
always exist.
Unimagined Contentment
How wonderful it would be to find you were perfectly happy & not realize you were perfectly happy. By not being
self-conscious of your happiness, your mental state would be more intensified than if you were monitoring it
constantly.
Perception of Time
What if tomorrow were really today? That would also imply that yesterday was, in fact, today, as well. Why
compartmentalize time & your own experiences into socially acceptable parameters of duration? Is not 12:30 a.m.
more related to 11:30 p.m.of the "previous" day, than it is to 11:30 p.m. later that day?
